I have a problem with displaying the '=ED' character in in=20
any text editor under xp.I ensured that the keyboard and=20
the regional setting was right , English(irish)..
They are usually displayed by using a key combination of=20
Altgr and the ,a,e,i,o,u, to display =E1,=E9,=ED,=F3,=FA.
They work with the exception of the =ED.
I tried more than one editor , notepad, wordpad, word97,=20
and all have the same problem. Tried to reinstall the=20
service pack1 for xp ...no result. I wonder if anybody=20
else has come across this.
Thanks in advance.=20
