Default "Browse" hangs before capture

When I want to capture to a different file location, hitting the 'Browse'
button causes Movie Maker to stop responding. Currently, I operate by
capturing to the same location each time, then use Windows Explorer to move
the file to where I want it saved. I assume others aren't having this
problem, because of lack of reference to it in the group. I've had it for
more than a year. I'm running XP home with SP2 installed currently. Movie
Maker 'about' shows version 2.1.4026.0.

Thanks.
