What are the file extensions of the videos you are trying to play?

Similar Problem
I am having the same problem. This just started occurring over the past few
days. My wav files and mp3 files play fine, but any time I click on a video link, when it plays I get a green screen. This happens on any of the links on the MSN home page for example. So I think these would be GIF images. I downloaded Windows Media Player 11 thinking I might just need the newest version, but it didn't stop the problem. I would greatly appreciate any help. Hello,
If there are no other suggestions, try setting the Performance of your video to a notch lower in Start Control Panel Display Settings Advanced Troubleshoot until the problem disappears. (Note that this may affect video game performance) Another way is to lower it in Windows Media Player Tools Options Performance Video Acceleration -- Singapore Website Design http://www.bootstrike.com/Webdesign/ Singapore Web Hosting http://www.bootstrike.com/WinXP/faq.html Windows XP FAQ "JEFFREY LANE" wrote in message news:_Hi1i.9723$b67.4466@trnddc06... Hi, Thanks for the response, but I have no idea what the extensions are. I
downloaded the new windows 11, it did not solve the problem. -- T. Scott Studie "scott" wrote: For the past few months, when I was hoping to see video, all I received was a green screen with good adio. Please take me through the steps so I again can enjoy video on the net. -- T. Scott Studie |

Thanks! I had to set it three notches lower before I started seeing videos
again, but this fixed the green screen problem for me! Doc "SingaporeWebDesign" wrote in message ...
