SP2 and Internet connectivity
After making sure that I was not connected to the internet in any way. I
formatted my hard drive and installed XP Pro on my computer. I installed My Firewall and My antivirus and then I connected to the internet. I at that time was able to cruise around with not problems. I then downloaded SP2 and now I have no internet access. I ran my spybot and my adaware and there was nothing to be found. I then rebooted into safe mode and rean HiJack This and it found nothing either. Does anyone have an idea as to why I lost my internet connectivity as soon as I downloaded and installed SP2? Thanks for your help in Advance Benjie |

SP2 and Internet connectivity
I have tried everything that the microsoft KnowledgeBase has suggested still
have the same problem. I have made sure that with or without a Firewall I have no internet connectivity. I reloaded my machine last night and I can connect to the internet with my Norton Firewall active. I am in the process of downloading SP2 again just to make sure that it wasn't just a 4 time problem. I have not downloaded and installed my isp software just in case that may be the problem. I have had SP2 on this computer before and it worked with no problems. This didn't happen until I formatted my HD the first time and loaded XP Pro.
