Default OT Laptop Problems

XP group seems non-responsive.
Old timers here (like me) probably can help me.

Lenovo T500 LAPTOP WITH wIN xp PRO.
rUNS GREAT MOST OF THE TIME.
but as you can see, I am not use to the keyboard layout.
My older laptop that I used for years, my fingers know where every key
was. This "new" one is a mystery. lol

My troubles

1) on a few occasions it boots up and the keyboard is non-functional.

2) on a few occasions, the mousepad is non-functional.

But not at the same time.

Re-boot almost always sets everything to functional.

Any clues from yous ?

Tanks.

And one other thing.

I set Process Explorer to start at logon but it does NOT.

Any fix ?

How do I change the order of logon startup things ?

Go into setup and turn on "report keyboard errors" and turn off fast
boot. You are probably getting a 301 reporting a problem. It might
just be a stuck key but I think Lenovo puts a suffix on the 310 that
indicates the bad key.
