Default VMware freezing computer when powering off virtual machine

Hello everybody. I using Windows 10 and i need Linux for some things (e.g.
programming), and i installed it on VMware Player. All works fine, but when
i power VM off computer freezes. It fully freezes, hard drive lamp is stops
blinking and going turned off, mouse and keyboard are not working. First i
thought that i gived too much memory to my VM, but it's only 768 MB (i have
6 GB). What i should do? Please help.

If you *need* it then install a supported O/S rather than a preview.

Correct!

Win10 is not a final product and it will expire.

OTOH: If you are running a VM just as an experiment,
try assigning it more RAM

If you already have the VMware Tools loaded into your Linux session,
just like any Windows session running on VMware, then I'd agree that
adding memory might like philo suggests be the next thing to try.

The other thing would be to verify you are using version 7 and not an
earlier version of Player as that is the first version that claims any
kind of possible Windows 10 compatibility, provided Microsoft has not
changed something it needs in order to function.

The latest VMWare Player is version 7 (December 2014).
Is that what you're using ?
