I have missed whole versions of Windows since so I am normally quite leery about claiming that something was introduced in a particular version. I also posted a retraction. It appears that you have to click on file to exit windows... but IIRC, I didn't and just shut down the machine because win3.1 was a co-operative multi-tasking system not pre-emptive. |
