W8 network to XP?
I can't seem to network to/from my XP machine to/from this new W8
machine. The folders/files on one do not show on the other. Must be missing something. Right now the W8 user is passworded. Nut the XP user is not. Help? Paul? ME

At that point no files/folders on the W8 machine were available to the XP. But, but, but suddenly the files/folders on the XP machine became available on the W8 machine. However, no password was asked for to get that access. Go figure. ME

ME Have you looked at the help available in Windows? Start screen Right-click All apps. Under Windows System Help and Support Internet and Networking.
