Default HDD LED

This is strange. From case 2 wires in a 4 hole socket [2 centre holes
empty]. MB only 2 prongs on the plug. Is there a simple way round this?

That sounds like the speaker connection, I think.

Two ways I have used:

1. Make a short 2-wire cable with a 4-prong male plug at one end and a
two-prong female plug at the other. Wire it the obvious way.

2. Manage to get one insert out of its hole and put it in the hole next
to the other insert.

OTOH, as Rodney Pont said, it does sound like the speaker plug.
