Default Mail App - No '+' button. Can not send email.

Brand new, out of the box, PC.
Set up Mail App using online tutorial.
Not using POP, hotmail only.
Creating accounts - fine.
Receiving emails - fine.
But can not send an email. No + button. Alt+S does nothing.

Ok, what am I doing wrong? g

Nevermind.

Apparently you have to swear loudly at the monitor during 4 or 5
reboots, wait 5 minutes after logging in, then open Mail App - the
button will magically appear.

Yep. Microsoft sure got it right this time. lol
