wireless configuration problem since SP2 upgrade
Since my upgrade to SP2, I am having the following
problem with my wireless connection. Everytime I reboot, I connect to the internet (my card icon shows an excellent connection). But this little monitor icon comes up and show it is looking for my network address, it will try for a while and then say I have no or limited connection. I can not go into the internet. I have to go into my connection properties, check the automice configuration box on my wireless tab, select my network and save and close, then it works fine, but next time I reboot, I have to go through the same thing because the box is unchecked again. I have tried everything I can think of, made a new connection, uninstalled and reinstalled the card, etc... I do not have any other software installed that would overwrite the windows settings. I am using a Thinkpad T40 with a Lynksis wireless router. Everything worked fine before I did the SP2 upgrade Any one have a suggestion? thanks |
