You can find a copy of AUTOEXEC.NT in C:\Windows\Repair. Just copy it to
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 I believe you may have spyware programs on your syste. Check with AD Aware SE 1.05 Spybot: Search and Destory 1.3 CWShredder . com wrote in message ... I am attempting to help a friend by "fixing" her computer. Yes, there were
viruses, adware, malware, etc. I have gotten all that out of the system. I'll get the copy of AUTOEXEC.NT and see how it goes. Thanks. alinda7788 "Yves Leclerc" wrote: You can find a copy of AUTOEXEC.NT in C:\Windows\Repair. Just copy it to \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 I believe you may have spyware programs on your syste. Getting "folders (?)" back into my Dimensions 2400 Windows XP
I am attempting to help a friend "fix" her computer. I might be able to
figure out where some of the programs came from, but she won't be able to tell me at all. So, although I appreciate your help, it fell a bit short of the assistance I needed. Thanks, anyway. alinda7788 "kurttrail" wrote: alinda7788 wrote: I need to now how to get the following back into my Wincows XP operating system: "C:\DOCUMC~1\ALMAJA~1\locals~\Temp\{72DF62 BD-FF.36-424E-AA5F-D89BAFF2C2Aa49~\isrt.doll~\irst.dll"; "C:\PROGAM~1\IEMENU~\tbextn.dll"; " "C:\WINDOWS\bxxs5.dll"; Reinstall the program(s) that put them there and C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT." I am attempting to "fix" a friend's computer. There is no way I would know
the programs that "put them there." So, this answer didn't help.
