XP Home to Pro Upgrade

yesterday, i started an upgrade from XP home to XP pro.
During the upgrade, it rebooted to the installation as
normal, but then said that there was a fatal error
(Loadlibrary cannot find netman.dll error code 2). it then
rebooted, and is stuck in a loop running into the same
brick wall all the time. I cant get out of it at all. It
wont boot from a cd or the previous version of xp.
Any help appreciated
