import multiple avi or wmv files

everyone,

how can i import multiple avi or wmv files into a
collections group, without it creating a seperate
collections group for each file?

i am trying to organize my video files into collection
groups. ie - VideoBackgrounds animations.

but when i import through the menus,select a number of 12
files and pull them into the highlighted collections
folder.

on import they each create a new collection named per each
of the 12 avi files for example.

this does not happen with images, music or audio files.
they will all pull into the single highlighted collection
folder.

any ideas?
