automatic updates

can anyone help with this problem " when automatic
updates are downloads are installed on to computer
everything seems fine until i check file installation
history and find that all the updates that were
downloaded have failed to install microsoft has been
trying to install the same security updates and critical
updates for the past couple of months but they always
fail to install
any
