Windows XP User Profile Issue
Dear All,
We are facing issues with some of the Windows XP computers in our infrastructure. Sometimes when users logs into the Domain they do not find their user profiles rather they get new profile. After restarting the workstation once or twice they get the profile back. There is no fix interval for the same. This problem happens suddenly. The users gets everything back if they restart the PC's but some of the high profile users who are asking for the reason for the same. Is there a way to find out the reason for the same. Can we enable any log which can help us to diagnose the issue. This is happening for some of the very high profile users which is creating a lot of issues for us. We are not able to find anything in the Eventvwr also. Your help in this matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Sukhwinder Singh |

Are any Vista or Windows 2000 Pro users part of the network? If so, how are they working? You said "some" computers. Are only the same users experiencing the failure. Can a user, experiencing trouble, log in immediately through a previously untroubled computer system? Are any users without any failure at all? Approximately how many systems/users have failed to your knowledge? Is the server currently licensed for (or beyond) the absolute total *number* of physical users you have? -- Pete |

Windows XP User Profile Issue
Hi,
Mainly some of the users are facing the problem and they face the issues once or twice a month and in the same PC. They can login and work in some other PC. Approx 20 - 25 users are facing this issue. Its is mainly happening for Windows XP SP3 PC's.
