Default Google Question ...

Whenever I opened Google in Windows XP, there was a black 1/4 inch
bar across the top of the page with a number of shortcuts to things
such as Images, YouTube, News, Search, Gmail and More ...
Since I installed Windows 7, the black shortcut bar is gone.
I checked the toolbar options, but to date, no luck.

Any ideas ???

TIA

Hagar

Type something and press enter. Now it's on the results page.

Yes - little block of nine black squares. Far from obvious IMO.

Actually, that's getting to be a common icon (in Android, anyway).

Apparently, our culture is getting closer and closer to Ancient Egypt.

*** Thanks for your reply. Actually, I can live with it the way it is.
I just detest that Microsoft does all these idiotic changes that do
nothing but confuse people, for no obvious reason or improvement
of any kind.

I hate the changes Google made as well. I have to sign in to my Gmail
account now, to see that bar with the other site links.
