Default Verifying email

I completed the setup. It then said to go to my email
address and click the first link in the mail they were
going to send me so I could verify my address. The mail
has never come. I tried clicking the link in messenger
to verify email and again it gives the same instructions
so again I go to my mail box and no mail. What gives?

Default Verifying email

Greetings,

Sometimes the verification e-mail takes up to 48 hours to arrive. If it still hasn't arrived,
you can request another one at Passport Services:

It seems that the thread for this has disappeared. Here it is again.

I'm having the same problem and I check my MSN Hotmail account daily. The
problem seems to have started for me on Monday. I've had the feature work
fine for months before that.

Greetings Mohamed,

The e-mail option will only work if you're using an active

Hotmail.com/MSN.com passport. If
you are using a Hotmail.com/MSN.com Passport, you can check that it is

active by going to
http://www.hotmail.com, logging in and trying to get to the Inbox. If

your account isn't
active, you'll be given a chance to reactivate it. If you did need to

reactivate it, you'll
need to sign out and back in to Messenger to see the e-mail notifications.
