How do I turn off broadcasts?
I am not sure I am saying this correctly. But I
will describe what I want. When users browser the network with Windows Explorer (the file manager, not IE), they see my server and every other computer on the network. Just the server shares files. I do not want all the computers to show up in this list. Is there a way to get certain computer to stop advertising (broadcasting?) about themselves, so they do not show up in the list. And, I need to do it from the registry. Many thanks, -T |
