Default Taskbar stopped working!

OK, this just happened suddenly. I can't access the taskbar. I get a
"klunk" sound whenever I try to click on anything. Start button
doesn't work, nothing. I can use the shortcut key and get to
everything, but what would make the taskbar suddenly unaccessable?????

What about on a Windows 2003 Server computer? I have a taskbar that
will either be (a) minimized, or (b) double height. I can't get it to
stick at single height!

Click and drag the vertical separator to the left of the bottom line
upward and to the right. Once you have both toolbars next to each
other, you can lower the height.
