Personalization

HI all

In the personalization menu font size is given as 100% and 125%. Is
there any way one can choose an in between vaule by modifying the
registry?

Some of the fonts are TrueType, and scaling to an arbitrary size is possible.

Whereas some other fonts are bitmap fonts, and the sizes selected by Microsoft,
lead to selecting "sets of font files". And apparently that assignment and
selection is done at installation time, dependent on the video driver used,
the display used and so on. A general method is described for fixing it, but
the method is not very good (too much manual labor to fix it properly).

SSERIFF.FON 125% DPI font file = Sans Serif font
SSERIFE.FON 100% DPI font file = Sans Serif font
