messenger adding contacts to my address book in outlook express
Even though my son is signed out of MSN Messenger, when I
open up Outlook Express all of his contacts are imported into my address book. I have already unchecked the box that says "sign me in automatically". I did not have this problem on Windows 98 but since I swithced to Windows XP this keeps happening. He signs out on his log-on in Messengger, but it doesn't sign him out in Messenger on my log-on even though I have unchecked automatically sign me in. Thanks for your help!! |

messenger adding contacts to my address book in outlook express
Greetings,
This is because Outlook Express actually starts Messenger. To stop this behavior, close Outlook Express, then download and run the following .reg file: http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...ssenger_oe.reg ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2004 Jonathan Kay.
