Default HP Officejet 600 Printer

The problem is caused by corrupted drivers which became corrupted by your
keeping the printed connected during the upgrade.

Uninstall and reinstall.

After upgradimg from windows 95 to wondows XP I recieved a msg. that i
needed a new printer driver for XP. After downloading the driver offered
by HP for windows XP, the printer does some strange things:
1. The printer disconnects after each use

2. sometimes the printer will reconnect when a print job is sent to the

printer, sometimes not.

3., sometimes the printer will reconnect after being powered off and on,

sometimes no

4. sometimes a have to reboot the system to reattach the printer.

I know that the Officejet 600 is an older printer and HP would rather have

me buy a new printer but is there any driver maround that will function
properly with Windows XP?????
