Default Wireless Issuies

I just picked up my new laptop and in my home network it connects to most
pages fine. However, pages where i have to sign in to view personal
information such as my bank website and school website, it just won't
connect. I tried adjusting all the security settings and nothing is working
for me. Can anyone help me with this problem?
