I have a new icon on my desktop "~", does anyone know
anything about this icon. I have deleted it, but it keeps appearing. Someone told me, it has something to do with accessing the address book in Outlook Express. Is this correct? |

Greetings --
One of the recent "hotfixes" for OE causes the file to be created when you update the address book. It's just a duplicate copy of the address book and can be safely deleted. A permanent fix is in development. Bruce Chambers -- Help us help you: http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html You can have peace. Or you can have freedom.
