IIS - need help getting to run
I'm not entirely sure this is the area for a question like this but there
wasn't a clear cut IIS newsgroup area. Anyways, if anyone can help it would be appreciated . I just installed IIS that came on the XP Pro disc and am trying to get it working, when I try to open http://localhost/localstart.asp I get a 500 Internal server error and I'm not sure why. I can't seem to find anything within the knowledge base of Microsoft's site to help. I'm not sure what else I should post to help so if there are questions that I can answer to help further resolve this glitch, please feel free to ask. |

Did you program the localstart.asp file yourself? You may have to set up your base folder as an application in the IIS administration, otherwise ASP may not do anything.
