Default File Transfer

Hey All,

I was wondering how secure file transfers are with these messenger
applications?

Thanks,

Default File Transfer

Greetings TC,

Neither MSN Messenger, Windows Messenger or Windows Live Messenger transfers are encrypted.

Additionally, in later versions of MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger, they have the
ability to relay a file through the Messenger server, without needing a direct connection
from you to the contact. So that also might be a security consideration for you.
