Default messenger disconnects me from internet.

Greetings,

Two things you can try here.

The first is to update the firmware for the modem/router (if there is any updates).

The second is to use the latest beta version of Windows Live Messenger, which has been known
to cure this problem since the protocol has been significantly changed. You can grab it from
http://download.live.com/messenger.

Below is my basic system info.. need more let me know...

I am counting on you guys to get this fixed, because it started right after
an update, forget what the update was, on top of that it was raining pretty
hard and I have had problems with the phone box outside during rain...the
phone guys said everything checked out...outside that is...could my westell
router be the problem???
it never affected me before but.. it is about 6 yrs old never been unplugged
except to reset the modem.. that little button is hard to hit..lol

the only unsigned driver I have is for my creative audigy 2 sound card..

I can get my mail faster with windows live beta...thanks...for that..
