I have a new icon on my desktop "~", does anyone know
anything about this icon. I have deleted it, but it keeps
appearing. Someone told me, it has something to do with
accessing the address book in Outlook Express. Is this
correct?

Greetings --

One of the recent "hotfixes" for OE causes the file to be created
when you update the address book. It's just a duplicate copy of the
address book and can be safely deleted. A permanent fix is in
development.
