Someone emailed me that Frank called me a liar about having to
undergo chemo for three years. As I have the ignorant **** kill
filed, I didn't see his ignorant statement. I am undergoing chemo
treatment for Hepatitis C. With the genotype I have, the treatment
is for 72 weeks. I am on my third treatment as the first two didn't
clear the virus. Even a dumb **** like Frank can figure out that
three periods of 72 weeks is a tad more than three years.

It's not chemo, bozobrains.

Have we met? I know it isn't chemo, I just call it that when I have to
explain the hair loss to people who would have trouble with:

"Chemo" implies chemicals. Interferon
occurs naturally in the body. You're just taking mega doses of
something you already have.

You need to join alt.support.hepatitis-c if you want good info. Your
disease doesn't belong in this forum anyway.

I've lurked there. I haven't seen anything there that isn't available
elsewhere.

I assume you're Geno 1 if you haven't cleared.

Yep.

Head on over to ash-c but try to mind your manners. HCV is serious
business and the group doesn't suffer fools gladly.

I'll try not to make any fools suffer and calling someone whom you've
never talked to before "bozobrains" is your way of setting an example?

Why don't you explain to them how you magically get $14k a week! LOL!

Yeah....especially seeing as how you spend all day long stoned and
posting your MS hatred in an ng about a product you don't even use?
You are really sick...in your head.

Ok, I'll take back the "bozobrain" where the HCV is concerned. Other than
that, you've seemed hell-bent on making trouble in this ng so until you
convince me otherwise, that opinion will stand. :-)

I've been a member of ash-c since 2002. The ng isn't what it used to be,
but there are still some good folks there who honestly want to help. Most
of us have never met, but we've celebrated the successes and mourned the
failures--and also the deaths of several members. I've tried tx 3 times,
failed twice at the 12-week mark and the third time tried the daily
Infergen. That didn't even last the 12 weeks since I'm widowed and have to
work. I was sick as a dog (and I work at a prison that was then high
security). My doctor won't even consider trying 72 weeks, so I wish you
luck, I truly do. Right now I'm at 4/4 and just in a holding pattern,
waiting for the other shoe to drop. I *love* it when someone slays the
dragon. Stand strong--you know what's in front of you and I think that's a
big part of the battle right there.

LIAR! You haven't kill filed anyone. You're the trouble make in here.
First, you don't even use W 7. Second, you openly hate MS and thirdly,
you're a known lying linux troll.

I wish you luck in surviving the virus you have (not the cancer you lied
about having) at least long enough for us to meet in person.
I'm sure you feel the same.

Well I'd say Frank was right and you are a f*cking liar. We always knew

A lot of HCV victims call it chemo because it has many of the same effects.
It saves a lot of long-winded explanations. Call him a liar all you
like--this disease can make you very weary, and his focus needs to be on
getting well, not splitting hairs.

Try to separate the person who annoys you and the person who is struggling
with something really tenacious and life-threatening. If you and Alias
happened to work in the same place you'd probably be able to do that. You
might not like him, but you wouldn't wish him ill.

Where did I wish him ill? His illness has nothing to do with his
personality. It just makes him a prick that's sick.

You obviously don't know anything about Hep C treatment. For example,
explain Riba Rage. And if all your hair fell out, you were continuously
felt nauseus with all the worse symptoms of the flu to round it out,
would you be in the best of moods?

It's not ok to be an irritable you-know-what , Alias. I know all about Riba
Rage but learned to handle it by being aware when it was coming on and
finding myself a quiet corner. Previous to that, I shook my finger in the
Unit Manager's face and yelled at him in front of 200 inmates (it took me
months to get up the nerve to apologize). Another time I threw a hammer
across the yard and called my son, sobbing hysterically about never having
enough help around the house. I was barely coherent. It's embarrassing but
you can get a grip on it.

You probably already know this, but the more water you drink--even if you
have to choke it down--the more the symptoms may ease. And you hair will
grow back. Heck, summer's coming. Shave it and go bald.
