Default network no internet connection but can use printer

Two pc's connected with ethernet cards running windows xp
home. Can use printer on host computer from client but
cannot access internet from client. Host computer
connects to net. Tried all troubleshooter guides and
tried to manually reconfigure but "dependency service or
group failed to start" pops up. help.

Did you setup Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on the computer connected
to the Internet?
