What the hell is going on?

All I want is W10 drivers for ScanJet G3110. Has web technology gone
out of control these days?

Hilarious :-)

"HP is compiling your results.
This could take up to 3 minutes, depending on
your computer and connection speed. Thank you
for your patience.

Well of course it never comes back, as it's a joke. A bad Javascript joke.

HP Scanjet Full Feature Software and Driver for Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP (32bit or 64bit)
Description: This download contains the required software/driver to scan pictures,
documents and film as well as HP Photosmart software to manage, edit
and share images.
File name: setup_full_G3110_20_0_0_02.exe
Driver size: 115 Mb

http://whp-aus1.cold.extweb.hp.com/p..._20_0_0_02.exe

It's hard to tell what that driver was designed for.
Might have been a Vista driver for all I know.

*******

I got the idea of looking for driver, via info here.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanni...0/td-p/5183013

"Supposedly this software package works for Windows 10
(setup_full_G3110_20_0_0_02.exe) but not for me on
two computers so far.

Immediately after the 10 upgrade, my G3110 returned garbled
colors for scans. It had been working fine under 8.1.
I figured it needed the driver and associated packages updated.

I tried the software package mentioned in the first paragraph,
deleted the 8.1 driver, and could not get connection to the G3110.
Windows Device Manager said there was no driver even after I
installed the package mentioned above. This happened on both
Windows 10 computers I tried.
"

Don't hold your breath.

This file is pretty small, and again, no idea how
far this file could be pushed, as it says it's
a Windows 7 driver only.

I guess it's good business for the people here. I bet
they can make your scanner work.
