Subject: RA ok but no sound, app sharing (correction)

This is a correction to my earlier message.

Something changed on my system, WinXP Pro, and I can't fix it. In the

past
I could use Talk and Video features. After a few months hiatus I find

that
Remote Assistance works fine, but I can't connect with remote user for
Voice, App Sharing, or Whiteboard. Have tried starting those features

with
RA runining and with RA not running simultaneously.

I recently switched from low speed connection to DSL. I hadn't used these
features for at least a couple months before the switch, and they did work
at that time. Shortly after the switch to DSL those features did not work.
I don't know what DSL would do to Messenger, but I guess that is suspect. I
will probably try going on-line by dialup and see if that changes anything.

Today I reinstalled Windows XP Pro on top of the older installation. No
change. One other thing I might try is adding a partition to the hard drive
and making a clean install of Windows XP to see if that makes a change.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
