Per Paul:
Did the Windows 8 device have a rotating hard drive, versus Flash file system for the Android ? That makes a difference when it comes to restoring full functionality after sleep. Rotating... but I intend to up the memory to 8 gigs and swap the rotating drive out for an SSD in the near future. Sometimes it seems maddeningly slow - even so it is just an i5 machine - to me and I am hoping the additional memory and SDD (mainly the SDD) will mitigate that. -- Pete Cresswell
