Ip conflict
I have XP Home on my PC and laptop and have just bought Packard Bell's
Net2Plug to set up a network between the two. The problem is, it keeps telling me that there is an IP conflict as both have the same IP address. Does anyone know how to change the default gateway to another address? |

Choose Properties from the menu. The right click your LAN Connection and choose properties. A window should open, choose TCP IP and click in the button that say properties. Here you can chage the the IP configuration of your NIC. Remember that the computer name shoulb be different, the workgroup the same in all PC's . The IP address unique. |
