Default wireless modem

I've been given an old Inspiron 5100 laptop and installed XP Pro with
all drivers. But it won't recognize a wireless card. How can I tell
if the computer has one?

Look at device manager. If something is not working then there is a
yellow icon.

You should also have a service tag sticker on the bottom.
Go to
http://support.dell.com/support/topi...&l=en&s=dhsand
and put in the service tag. Click continue. Its warranty info, yes,
but there is a tab for original configuration.
