Default Startup Level= 1

Windows 10 Pro, 1703 (OS Build 15063.674). In my startup programs list I
have Level= 1. I think it may have something to do with the network. Can
anybody provide more info? I was unable to pick the right search
parameters.

Bill,

I just did a quick search on "Level-1" and the sites listed like "LevelOne
Global - Quality Networking Products" show up in Norton Security as having
computer threats. You may want to run MalwareBytes (free version) on your
system to make sure it's not malware.

Just in case you're thinking Level-3 Communications, they provide backbone
networks for ISP's and telecommunication services.

I do not believe this computer ever has had a Norton product on it. I use
MalwareBytes at least once a week and it has been run several times since I
noticed this. Will run again. I use Windows Defender and have not had any
of the issues with the computer. Use common sense regarding what I open. I
think I will disable Level= 1 and see if anything pops up or if it returns.

You miss Kenai? I searched the registry and it seems to have something to
do with Logitech's Setpoint program. I use a Logitech keyboard and mouse.
At some point will have to figure out just what level 1 means.

Sure do miss Kenai. I was stationed there (Kenai AFS) in the 70's and used
to work part-time in town repairing/upgrading aircraft and marine radio
systems. And of course everyone waited until the day before fishing or
hunting season opened to get their equipment fixed. Lots of tall tales from
Alaska. We did a lot of camping and drove the Denali and camped near the
Ranger Station (Endicott as I recall) when you could still drive there and
woke up to see Mt. McKinley in all its splendor. That Denali highway back
then was not for the weak of heart or two-wheeled drive vehicles.

Sounds like you found the source for the Level= 1 entry. I have Logitech
mice and keyboards on some systems but don't recall ever seeing that in the
startup folders. I'll look closer...
