Default Connecting with network on startup

My computer used to automatically connect shortly after startup. Then
Win7 died, and had to be reinstalled and all my programs reinstalled.
Now I have to manually connect to each network computer by clicking
on the network drives in "MY Computer". How do I get it back like it was?

Have you checked the box for "Reconnect on ..." when you setup the
connection manually.

What po's me is my Win7 box doesn't share the folders marked as Shared
on external drives when it starts, just the shares on internal drives. I
have to manually reshare external drive shares every time.

They were all marked Reconnect on Startup.
