There's various ways to word this.

"I want larger fonts in dialog boxes"

"If the dialog box supports resizing, I want
to make the outer border of the dialog box
taller and wider"

Well, some dialogs and windows support sizing,
and some don't. So that's a problem right away.

There can be font tweakers, which adjust sizes
for up to five things. Windows used to have this
itself, until MS removed it.

Message box:
Palette title:
Icon:
Tooltip:

You select each in turn and work the slider.

The instructions also say, your choices won't be
honored when the next OS version comes in. You will
then have to repeat the exercise.
