"Wah, wah... Updates are such a chore. Wah, wah..."

You might want to rethink your resentments and just git 'er done:

http://fortune.com/2019/06/05/nsa-windows-update-bluekeep/

If you don't, the booger-man is going to get you.

(If you're a #DumbassDemocrat, you can always blame it on the #Russians.)

Of course in order to take this seriously one would have to trust the
NSA and Microsoft and they have done nothing to encourage trust, quite
the opposite in fact.

Wouldn't you agree, comrade?

The patch is not needed on Windows 8 or Windows 10.

https://borncity.com/win/2019/05/15/...ws-7-may-2019/

"This critical vulnerability exists in the following Windows versions:

Windows XP kb4500331-x86 531,496 bytes
Windows Server 2003
Windows Vista
Windows 7 kb4499175-x64 105,383,235 bytes (burp! I feel full, what did I just eat)
Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2008 R2
"

https://blog.f-secure.com/patch-blue...cve-2019-0708/

"Block TCP port 3389 at the enterprise perimeter firewall"

That would be a start.

Windows Server 2008 SP1: KB4499149 or KB4499180
Windows 7 SP1: KB4499164 or KB4499175
Windows Server 2008 R2: KB4499164 or KB4499175
