Default bugcode_usb_driver

Hopefully someone will be able to help me here.

My wife's computer (about a year or so old - Vostro w/ 2 gig RAM and a dual
core processor running XP) served up a blue screen with the following error:

bugcode_usb_driver

I tried to delete all of the usb devices and reboot. It helped once - but
then the next day I got the same screen.

Any suggestions

I noticed that it occurs when I try to connect to my own - WEP secure
wireless network. Interestingly - if I try to connect to a local, but weak
signal, unsecure wireless network I do not get the blue screen.

I have updated what I can - including the BIOS and some of the drivers (but
could not find the drivers that are specifically for the usb connections.

Start with the basics,1st with any OS install you need to install the
boards chipset installation utility.Get this at intel.com Make sure you get
it for youre boards chipset, the latest isnt always the best. This utility
contains
the USB drivers + other board drivers. Also, chk for other downloads that have
youre components from intel.

THANK YOU ...

Just the answer I needed. I had no idea where the drivers were - now I can
get the appropriate file and reinstall the drivers.

Would have never found this on Bing (which I can not get any decent search
result from) or Google - as it simply served up thousands of sites offering
to sell me a file and fix my problem.
