Cannot change the icon for image files
I use Netscape as my default browser and VuePrint for my image files. I
have set the file type association in "Folder Options" to Vueprint and the image files open correctly. However, the file icon for these image files always defaults to the Netscape icon and I cannot find a way to change it to the VuePrint icon. Is there a solution to this? Thanks, Joan |

Cannot change the icon for image files
Hi Don,
It seemed to work for some types of image files (e.g. .bmp) but NOT for JPG. That was somewhat frustrating, to say the least. However, this is the solution I stumbled upon by sheer chance... In the folder options, select "New" and enter "JPG". A message comes up "Extension JPG is already associated with file type VuePirint. Do you want to unassociate JPG with VuePrint and create a new file type for it?". You say Yes. . Voilá! Thanks for your help. I think it put me on the right track.
