Annoying Message at Start Up
This is not an XP problem, but since there is no Windows 7, I'm going to
ask it here. I recently purchased a new computer with Windows 7. On start up, I got the message that I need to download Microsoft.net framework 2. I did so, but I continued to get the message. The next time I got it, I tried to download it again, but got the message that it is already on my computer.

Annoying Message at Start Up
look in the tray for an icon like a little flag.
using it you should be able to find this update request and turn it off. "someone" wrote in message ... This is not an XP problem, but since there is no Windows 7, I'm going to ask it here.
