Default Auto run of .pps files

I receive .pps files via e mail--outlook express ver 6 Have power point
viewer installed--to view the items I must open the viewer then open the
saved ,pps file--How do I set up so these will open when selected to
run.--all other attachments seem to open without protest--Please! Many
thanks for any help--have been really helpful in the past--Mel
