Default Windows File Protection help..

Hi Tom,

The first thing to try is replacing the Patch. Go here and download and
install it.

Try this:

Go here and install the Patch. Than download some themes. That will change
the start button and a lot more.

Than go here for even more themes.

If you need help than the StyleXP program will work for you.

Have fun
Richard

Thanks for the reply Kelly about the "Password.net"
issue,as a related problem to this is that when I boot up
a message box comes up and states that "there are files
being used that Windows does not recognize and asks me to
insert my Winsows XP disc. I do so,and before I can hit
the retry button, the message goes away and nothing
happens. My desktop is totally changed to the "classic"
style and the thtme I have had for a long time is gone.I
have style xp with the theme patcher installed(for over a
year now with no problems). I can choose the style xp
theme I want(coughdrop),but it won't switch over.I did a
system restore yesterday and it worked great, however,it
only worked for 1 day.if all this sounds confusing,I
apologize, but it's even more confusing on this end.any
help is greatly appreciated.
