Removing unread mail note on log-in page
Beneath each identity name on the log-in page as XP
starts there's a note about the number of items of unread mail. Does anyone know how to turn this off? Small annoyance, but I'd appreciate the info. |

Download and install TweakUI:
Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI) http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp After installing, go to Start Programs PowerToys for Windows XP TweakUI. Expand "Logon" and uncheck "Show unread mail on Welcome = screen". Note: Unread message alerts may indicate you have unread messages not = only in Outlook Express, but Hotmail and/or MSN email accounts as = well. --=20 Nicholas -------------------------------------------------------------------- "Philidor" wrote in message: =20 ... | Beneath each identity name on the log-in page as XP=20 | starts there's a note about the number of items of unread=20 | mail. | Does anyone know how to turn this off? | Small annoyance, but I'd appreciate the info. |
