icon font color
I am having problems changing the font color on my
desktop icons. I want to change the font to black. When I go to Diaplay properties, appearance tab, advanced button, and select item as an icon....the "color" selection is greyed out. Is there a way around this? I presume you have it set to that the text is on a transparent background, in which case you are stuck with the white on a black shadow. If you have it on a solid color, you can then change the font color at the expense of getting back those ugly color blocks again. -- Chris Jackson Software Engineer Microsoft MVP Windows XP Associate Expert -- |

icon font color
Chris- Thanks for your info. What my problem is...I have
a desktop pic that is white...that's why I want the icon font color to be black. As far as I have been able to find out...this feature is no longer available. It was available in W2K and older...but not in XP. -----Original Message----- I am having problems changing the font color on my desktop icons. I want to change the font to black.
