XP - Start - All Programs (unable to sort folders/files)
When I select START, All Programs the folders are not sorted alphabetically.
If I right click with my mouse on one of the folders nothing happens. My right button on the mouse is set to: context menu/alternate select Does anyone have any idea why I cannot sort my folders? |

If you mean that you can see a list of folders, then a list of items and then other folders and items: this is by design. The upper part of the Start Menu contains the items in C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ALL USERS\START MENU, the lower part is from C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\{username}\START MENU. -- (tm) |

XP - Start - All Programs (unable to sort folders/files)
Open the Taskbar & Start Menu Properties dialog, click the 'customize' button, 'Advanced' tab -
under 'Start menu items:', Check 'Enable dragging & dropping'. This will restore right-click functionality to the items Keith "Mike" wrote in message ...
