Default xp movie maker ver2

I made a movie with xp movie maker and I am having
trouble saving the movie to a cd. I have a hp re-
writable 9500b cd drive and I am able to use it in other
applications such as roxio's cd creator. When I select
the option to save to cd it comes back with a message box
that says a recordable cd device was not detected by
movie maker...do you want to save it to a file on your
hard drive.

I know I have a recordable drive and it works when I use
it to save quicken files and such. does anyone have any
ideas why movie maker cant recognize my drive. I could
always move the file to re-writable cd and do it that way
but thats an unnecessary step that I shouldnt have to
take.

any help would be appreciated.

Yup, I have exactly the same problem which no-one has been able to give
me a fix for!
