Defining JVC DV-X40 as digital device connected to 1394 OHCI NEC
Firewire

In the control panel the firewire card looks fine and appears as
functioning properly. I connect the camera and power it on, but in
the software I don't see any indication that its there. I'm using
ULEAD Video Studio which came with the card. I'm running XP.

Any leads?
